Dark Chocolate and Depression

by Chocolate Lover
(TX)

Just wanted to comment on a recent story about depressed people eating a lot of chocolate. The article says chocolate may cause depression or that people who suffer from it may crave chocolate.

Hmmm, then I must be REALLY depressed because I eat a lot
of dark chocolate. But I'm happy before and after I eat it.

Personally, I don't think it causes depression. But that's just my opinion based on my experience.

I think you're on to something there! Perhaps it was a transcription error?

Only thing more depressing than no chocolate on hand is no chocolate in hand.

Dpressed When Dark Chocolate Gone

I agree. No way dark chocolate causes depression!

I am happy as can be till all my dark chocolate gets
eaten. Then my happiness wanes til my stash is replenished.

Maybe that's what the researchers meant to say. That a lack of dark chocolate can lead to depression.
